I actually cried a little when I heard this segment on the show. I have been listening for at least 11 years and when I heard that this one was filmed I couldn’t wait to watch. Very cool! Congrats on 20 awesome years!

Liane, CONGRATULATIONS on 20 wonderful years! I’ve been listening since WESunday started and have the highest respect for the consistently exceptional work you and the whole staff at NPR do every day, week after week, year after year. You have given us a 2nd golden age or radio!

My family growing …
My family growing up used to send cassette recordings of narration and spoken letters to each other back in the day, and hearing the NPR voices each week for the news is like getting a new letter from them again, or rediscovering an old recorded letter from a long-passed relative. It’s great every time, even when the news is sour ^_^

Its great, hearing these voices for years, and finally seeing the faces behind them. It seems like I create images of what they look like in my head, and its always surprising when I actually see them.
NPR is awesome.

Reason man are better than women
I believe all women suffer from a mild and extremely localized form of Tourette Syndrome. The afflicted organ? Their tongues. Thats why women cannot shut their ing mouths for ten seconds while adults are speaking around them. Their tongues are battling around in their mouths like drunken Vipers.
