   That would actually be my ex-main 3×3.

   Yeppers, that was the first 3×3 I ever had: a Rubik’s Brand from the clear hexagonal box. It’s not so much the brand that makes it nice as the thousands of solves that have broken it in. Yes those are smooth tiles.

   The cube I use now is a transparent blue DiY. It’s a beast.

    actually the rubiks world is a bit harder not because of the orentation but you can use the top or side peices of the north or south pole
