How many coats of mod podge should I put on a puzzle?
Posted on Oct 22, 2008 under puzzle |I bought mod podge for a puzzle I just finished. How many coats should I put on the puzzle? Should I put it on the front of the puzzle also? It is a glow in the dark puzzle and I am wondering if it will make it not glow. Any opinions are appreciated!
Be careful with Mod Podge. When in a humid condition it can become sticky. Water can make it wet again. I would recommend poly-urathane. You can find this in every hardware store, One coat of this would be fine. And make sure that you apply it in a well ventilated area. I hope this information helps you.

i am not sure if it will affect the glow in the dark. is there an 800# number to call on the back of the jar? I am a teacher, I use it often in art projects like decopauge and sealing in stuff. I would use 2 coats (let each dry in between) you want to put it on the front and back. obviously let each side dry before turning it over and to make sure it doesn't come apart when you flip it.
hope that helps you.
