What games can we play at an engagement party?
Posted on Jul 31, 2009 under games |Need some games for an engagement party! It is a potluck and a pool party but I would like to play some games as well! The only game I have to far is "How well do you know the bride and groom to be?" which should be lots of fun but more games would be great!
Vegetable oil naked twister.
That ties in nicely with getting to know the bride and groom to be.

My MOH is doing a contest with toilet paper. What it is, you give a group of 3-4 girl a roll of toilet paper, paper clips, fake flowers, and whatever else you want and have the girls make a wedding dress outta that. Who ever is the most creative wins the prize. The bride is the judge.
My party will be in Oct so she is getting pumpkins and having the guest paint the pumpkins that best suit the bride and groom.
Im not sure what else is up her sleeve cuz she wont tell me but I hope I helped.
Good luck and congrats

At my friend’s wedding shower, we played a game to see how well the bride knows the groom.
The groom prepares 15 personal questions (some easy, some difficult).
Everyone write down the number of questions they think that the bride will correctly answer.
The bride answers all the questions without being told if she’s right or wrong.
The groom goes through each answer and says whether or not she’s right.
The person(s) who guessed the number correctly (or as closely to) wins a prize!
Another game was to pick a word (we did Love) and guess how many songs have that word in the title. The person with the most wins!
One more we played was a wedding related word jumble. Words related to wedding (including the bride and groom’s last names) was a part of the list. The first person to unscramble all of the words first wins! OR the first person to unscramble the most words in 5 minutes wins!
Have fun!

It’s not a lovey-dovey game, but Catchphrase is possibly the most fun game to play with a group of friends.
