How many games will only work with an ATI graphics card and how many with an Nvidia graphics card?
Posted on Apr 25, 2009 under games |I have seen a few games that will only run with an Nvidia graphics card and I have seen a few games that will only run with an ATI graphics card. About how many games are like this and what are they?
All games are released for different operating systems but not for different graphics processing units, this is because the graphics cards all use the same basic technology. They are all small processors with cooling.
Some are better than others but not exclusive. Take "Crysis", it's optimized for Intel and Nvidia but plays just as well om Ati and AMD.

As far as I recall, there are no games that run only with one or the other. If it has an NVidia label on the game, that means that it is OPTIMIZED for NVidia cards, but not that ATI Cards won't work on them.
