How do I start a new game on the new Pokemon mystery dungeon games?

At the game menue go to Exploration Records then press Delete Saved Data.

hum i think when you start it up press, erase game intead of continue. and then it will sart from the beginning and youl hvae to create it all again.
please answer my question; ?

to start the game you have to go through the really long intro thing. then wait till the bottom screen says the touch me thing. go take the test. and no you can not evolve.

Turn it on and hit New Game. It’ll ask if you want to start a new game. Say yes. When you beat the game (the original PMD games only) go see Snubble. He’s evolved into Granbul. This can be done at Whiscash’s Pond. There can only be one Pokemon in there at a time, and same evolution conditions apply.

you erase the data first before you press new game or smth. to evolve you need to beat the main storyline. (finish sky tower and rayquaza, or at least for the ds blue and red rescue team…) and go to the place that whishcash and the caterpie and metapod. there where the platform in the middle of the pond wher wishcash usually stands BEHIND is this hole with stairs going down. go in and this odd voice sounds. say yes to both qns if you don’t need an item, or use an item to evolve. and tadaa you’re evolved.

On the main menu, choose the very bottom option, then press “erase adventure log”.
You can evolve, but you’ll have to wait until the end of the game.

In PMD:EoT and PMD:EoD, you and your partner are not allowed to evolve (the reason given is because you have traveled through time). I don’t know if there is a point in the after-game where after a certain event completion (ex: Palkia) you can then evolve.
As others have said, there is an option in the Main Menu to start a new game.

Yeah when you turn on the game before you start there is an option for deleting your previous game data and when you unlock the evolution cave you should be able to go visit your partner and switch your control so that you control him instead of your original character then you just take him to the evolution cave
