actually ive seen some test on cross platform where the xbox 360 out performs a ps3 with framerate and resolutions. probably because of the better gpu in the 360. i know the ps3 has a better cpu make for better exclusives though.

Yes, i know that the chip the Xbox has is better. You get to pay for? That’s waaaaaayyy old. Terrible online service? It’s a simple online service that provides what is needed, not some fancy stuff that you keep showing off the whole time. You pay 300 for an elite with a DVD player, no wi fi(which as you know costs 100 dollars), no more HDMI and you have to pay for online and get ads with the online service. If they’re gonna make you pay, then why are the putting ads ?!

Here’s some more info for you.
Now, this doesn’t make any sense, because the PS3 does have better graphics (only very slightly in cross-platform, but a lot in exclusives), but the Xbox 360 graphics chip has better specs.
The PS3 processor is very powerful though.
Yes, the PS3 is better in overall hardware, but is the very slight graphical enhancement worth it with a terrible online service? You get what you pay for, right?

You obviously don’t know what sounds a cheap/faulty HDD makes then, you haven’t read about that specifically, otherwise you would have found a lot of threads on the topic. Some uming it’s “normal”, which it is in a lot of cheap desktops/laptops.

Son, Sony said themselves they’re working on the cross-chat update, but they also said it’s a “very complex” update.
Xbox 360 had cross-game private chat from day one. Why? Because it’s built into their hardware.
If Sony didn’t built it into their hardware from the start, which they didn’t, it’s possible the PS3 will ***NEVER*** get this update.
The only way they could do it, is by spending a lot of money re-do the ENTIRE OS of the PS3, which’ll be incredibly difficult.

Haha, I bought a 80GB PS3 just the sunday passed. Either it came faulty, of Sony did impliment newer, ty hardware, I took it back and got an Xbox 360 Elite the next day after experiencing, yet again… well, no experiencing with PSN, because it BLOWS.
I’ve read forums, I think PS3 consoles now makes these noises as standard… Sony had to justify the price-cut with new, cheapo laptop HDDs.
Oh, and your friend must play a lot of single player games to use his PS3 more…

But yes, I can cross-game chat with high-quality mics with up to 8 people while we all do whatever we want on our Xbox. Whether it’s sitting on the dashboard, playing a game… you can all even be playing different games at once, and we don’t get kicked… oh, and I don’t even need to be invited to games, I can simply “Join session in progress”.
