What is the policy concerning tickets for suspended or cancelled games?
Posted on Jun 25, 2010 under games | 1 CommentI read that people that had tickets to the Twins game on Tuesday, that was suspended due to rain, weren’t allowed to come back and see the rest of the game the next day. However, people that had tickets for that days game (Wednesday) saw both the end of Tuesdays game as well as the regularly scheduled game.
I understand having an outdoor park that games will be canceled or suspended, and it’s worth it to play outside. But I thought I read that you would be able to come back and see the rescheduled game. Where could I find these policies? And how does it work at other stadiums?
I believe this is determined by the home team. The Red Sox had a suspended game a couple weeks ago and the fans with tickets for the original game were out of luck. They did not get to go to the conclusion of the game. Fans with tickets for the scheduled game that night got to see the conclusion as well as the regularly scheduled game.
You need to contact the individual team to find out what the policy is.
