Best Game Ever

From http://www.ImprovEverywhere.com, a little league baseball game is turned into a major league event. All players, coaches, and parents do not know what is happening. We worked with the league commissioner to get the kids’ names and access to the field to setup our equipment the morning of the game. He was the only one in on it. NBC Sports worked with us and got us the jumbotron and the blimp.

This is one of over 70 different missions Improv Everywhere has executed over the past six years in New York City. Others include Frozen Grand Central, the Best Buy uniform prank, and the famous U2 Rooftop Hoax, to name a few. Visit the website to see tons of photos and video of all of our work, including behind the scenes information on how this video was made.

Need some games for an engagement party! It is a potluck and a pool party but I would like to play some games as well! The only game I have to far is "How well do you know the bride and groom to be?" which should be lots of fun but more games would be great!

Vegetable oil naked twister.

That ties in nicely with getting to know the bride and groom to be.

I’m a camp counselor at a day camp for children entering first grade this year and I’m running out of ideas of games that I can play with them. Of course we play the classics- sharks and minnows, duck duck goose, ga-ga, etc., but I need more so that the kids don’t grow old of the games. Any help or a link to a website would be greatly appriciated.

familyfun.go.com is a really good website for stuff like that, it has EVERYTHING.

This is Liane Hansen’s 20th year as the host of NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday. To celebrate the occasion, we taped this week’s puzzle segment in front of a live audience.

My b day is coming up and I don’t know what game I want pls help!
My birthday is July 27 so no games past that date
I’m 13 and like first person shooter and tactical games or fighting games but I’ll take a look at any game thanks!

Well, for starters, happy birthday. Mine just past recently, I know how you feel not knowing what I want. Anyways, for Xbox 360, some good games include Armored Core 4, which is a mech fighting game (don’t worry, you don’t need to know anything about the other ones) which involves third-person shooting, as well as Team Fortress 2, where you can choose your character type (soldier, heavy weapons guy, demo man, engineer, spy, etc) and fight with various guns and other weapons. You can see some character based advertisements for this game that are pretty funny if you search Team Fortress 2 on any video site. As far as I know, this game is only included on the Orange Box, which has at least one other game on it, not sure, but you may be able to find it seperately. Also, Call of Duty 4 is a good first person shooter. For the Wii, I can’t really recommend much. The only thing I can say for that is if you like a particular series, you can check to see if they have any games based on it for the Wii.

My Puzzle Collection II

Everyone should have some sort of collection. I think puzzles is more fun than coins or stamps though, don’t you?

**** **** **** ****
My puzzle collection includes (sorted by Shape first, and function second, for your convenience):

Cube Shaped Puzzles:
************************

(~15x) 3×3s: It’s hard to keep track of the exact number. Most of these are various DIYs, some are RNAs (Rubik’s Brand), some are knockoff brands. I also have one Studio Cube, which is very nice.

(3x) 4×4s: Two Rubik’s Revenge and one Eastsheen 4×4.

(3x) 5×5s: Rubik’s, Eastsheen, and V-Cubes. I like all three.

A 7×7: Very impressive mechanism. I love this puzzle, it’s one that I think all collectors should have.

(4x) Square-1s: Three black DiYs, and a white DiY.

A Skewb: Mine is a 3D Skewb. Strange mechanism.

(5x) 2×2s: Two normal Rubik’s, one Ice Cube, an (modded) Eastsheen, and a giant 57mm Rubik’s.

A Keychain 3×3: This will likely be modding-fodder later.

A 1×1x1 and a 1×1x2: For s and giggles. :)

A Siamese Cube: This is a mod you have to do yourself, it is very easy to make.

A 3×3x4 Extended: This is also something you have to make, and it is even easier than the Siamese.

An Icon: This is just a greyscale 3×3.
An Oilers Hockey Cube: Ummm, yeah.
A So-Du-Cube: This is lame.

Dodecahedron Shaped Puzzles (12 sides):
**************** ********* ********* ***********

(5x) Megaminxes: Three PVC Megaminxes, an MF8 Megaminx, and a Chinese Megaminx. I recommend either the PVC or MF8. Message me for more details.

A Pyraminx Crystal: Huge, heavy, and a lot of fun to solve. It’s like a megaminx, except you turn an extra row of edges with every twist, making all megaminx algorithms worthless.

Spherical Puzzles:
********************

(2x) Rubik’s Worlds: These are just round 2×2s. Fun to solve.

An Impossiball: Essentially megaminx corners.

A Magic/Miracle Sphere: A strange sliding tile puzzle. Intuitive to solve, but time consuming as well.

A Rubik’s Brain Racker: A fun sliding tile puzzle with many different ‘modes’ of solving. I bought this at VOS 2008.

Other “Twisty” Puzzles:
************************

A Platypus: This is a strange puzzle with 6 sides, but only 3 “edges” per side, and no corners. This is very easy to solve.

A Rubik’s UFO: A fun puzzle. Funner to have than it is to solve, if that makes sense.

(3x) Rubik’s Magics: Well, yeah.. I do consider this a twisty puzzle. The first move in the solve is a twist!

Other “Sliding” Puzzles:
*************************

A Flip-Side: One of my first obscure puzzles. I think this is when I started collecting more than just cubes.

A 15-Puzzle: The most intuitive solve ever.

Rush Hour: This is a different kind of puzzle.. more of a solitaire-type board game.

A Twister: This is a wooden bead type puzzle. This is super-classy looking which is why I bought it. Challenging at first, but once you learn the trick it’s too easy.

Burr-Type Puzzles:
********************

Several Burr-Type Puzzles: 4 wooden burr puzzles, an Idea Cube, and a Tetris Cube.

A Tantrix: I don’t play with this.

Miscellaneous:
****************

A Rubik’s Revolution: SHAME ON YOU, RUBIK’S!

I may have missed some things in this list… I hope you like my collection!

Places to buy puzzles:

You can order most puzzles at the following sites:
http://www.cubefans.com
http://www.cube4you.com
http://www.mefferts.com
http://v-cubes.com

You can buy everything else here:
hhhp://www.ebay.com

Please don’t ask me which stores I buy my puzzles from. “River-City Games” and “Kites and Other Delights” probably don’t even exist where you live. You can sometimes find puzzles anywhere that they sell board games and toys.

About half of my puzzles have cubesmith tiles or stickers. I recommend tiling some of your puzzles if you have some money kicking around:

Classic Game Room HD reviews PROTOTYPE from Radical and Activision for Xbox 360, also available for Playstation 3 PS3. This Prototype review has gameplay video from Prototype video game showing game play in HD as CGR wreaks havoc in a well rendered New York City. Drive tanks down Wall Street, now that’s payback for your 401k! Alex Mercer is the prototype created by a horrible government conspiracy. Seek revenge against your creators and pretty much whatever or whoever gets in your way. Consume other people and morph into their form, throw taxis at people and jump off the Empire State Building. Prototype is darned fun and a violent, explody, bangy, crashy joy to play. It runs in High Definition and the Xbox 360 version has achievement points for Prototype. Earn weapon and jump upgrades (and more) and have a great time with side missions, challenges and other chaos that you create in Prototype! CGRHD reviews Xbox 360 games as an Xbox 360 reviewer reviewing video games like Prototype.

I used to play a game about completing levels. To solve the puzzle and move on to the next lever you had to move stuff around in order to get the bowling ball to the finish line of the puzzle. Move canons around, set up dynamite, bowling balls, and latters. Does anybody know the name of this game. I want this game bad but I dont know the name of it.

I’m not sure if this is the exact game you’re looking for, but the general idea is the same. It’s called "The Incredible Machine" and follows the whole "A light shining on the magnifying glass will ignite the cannon which scares the cat into moving into the mousewheel to power the generator …" etc.

There were a lot of them produced, named as variations of The Incredible Machine.

If nothing else, it may help in your search!
