If you think of the panels as being numbered like this:
1 2 3 4
5 6 7 8
9 10 11 12
13 14 15 16
then you should press the panels 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 16 in that order.

What version you suggest in developing games? I only have a basic knowledge in flash. I'm planning to develop a game as a part of our thesis.
Its a "Snake" game similar to "SnakeEX2" found in some nokia phones. So what could be the software and version do you suggest in developing this type of game?

I recommend that you use Adobe Flash CS3 Professional and utilize ActionScript 2.0.
There are plenty of flash tutorials about making games. For instance you can download some samples with source from the Adobe's Flash site.
